PRESS STATEMENT
PROLONGED WRANGLING BETWEEN FG AND ASUU
What is it that could destroy the world of Nigeria students more than the “clash of the titans” that alarmingly occurs too frequently between the Federal Government and ASUU? On July 1, 2013, Nigerian University lecturers, under the aegis of Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], began a nationwide indefinite strike. The decision of ASUU to embark on the industrial action, according to its President, Dr. Nasir Isa Fagge, was taken due to the failure of the Federal Government to implement a 2009 agreement and 2012 Memorandum of Understanding [MOU] it entered with the union. AIR CRASHES- CACOL BERATES AVIATION MINISTER

                                                     PRESS RELEASE
The Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders [CACOL] has expressed its displeasure over the statement credited to the Minister of Aviation, Mrs Stella Oduah, who described the recurring air accidents in the country as ‘God’s will that are inevitable’.

While reacting to a comment that the latest crash had made nonsense of government’s much-talked about reforms in the aviation sector, the minister said, “We do not pray for accidents but they are inevitable. But we will continue to do everything to ensure that we do not have accidents. But an accident is an act of God.” Continue reading “AIR CRASHES- CACOL BERATES AVIATION MINISTER”
