The Coalition against Corrupt Leaders (CACOL), an anti- corruption group has urged Nigerian judges not to treat corruption cases with “kid gloves.
In a press statement signed by the Executive Chairman of the group, Debo Adeniran said the caution became necessary following recent developments where cases bordering on fraud and diversion of public funds are not handled transparently.
The group expressed worry that some corruption cases stalled or dismissed in Nigerian courts have always speedily sailed through in London courts and in other jurisdictions.
