The Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, CACOL, has called for an investigation into the alleged misuse of N4.9 billion from the contingency funds of the Federal Government by the Budget Office of the Federation.
The House of Representatives’ Committee on Public Accounts had, last week, queried the disbursement of money from the fund.
CACOL Chairman, Comrade Debo Adeniran, who condemned this act in a press statement issued yesterday in Lagos, lamented that the endemic corruption pervading the Budget Office of the federation is very worrisome. Continue reading “Anti-corruption group slams Budget Office over N4.9bn spending”
